Miss Armstrongs enrichment group were at the Liverpool Museum on Friday. They went to the opening of the exhibition Lucky Pigsy which is part of 2019 Year of the Pig Chinese New Year celebrations.

Bank View was one of 30 organisations between Liverpool and Hong Kong who made origami fish, butterflies, lanterns and zodiac animals from recycled lucky money envelopes. They were then used to make a sculpture based on ‘Pigsy’, a greedy and mischievous character in the 16th century classic Chinese novel ‘Journey to the West’. You can see the sculpture at the Liverpool museum until the end of February.

The group had lunch and met the Lady Mayoress
