Base 1 had a wonderful time visiting the Lush shop in town on Tuesday. They have been learning all about personal hygiene and why it is important that we care for ourselves and take pride in our appearance. The pupils were given a tour of the shop and experimented with lots of products! We enjoyed testing bath bombs, bubble bars, bubble wands and making models out of fun (that was our favourite part!) After our activities, we walked around the shop once more to spend our money on our favourite products. However, the fun didn’t stop there! The pupils had a lovely surprise waiting at the till for them – they each received a free paintbrush bubble wand and a slice of rainbow fun in their shopping bags.
It was a great way to end our personal hygiene life skills module.
