This week Primary 2 have been very busy learning about different families and LGBT awareness.
Primary 2 started the week by talking about our own families and discussing similarities and differences they went on to make their own family tree and called it ‘Diversitree’.
We created our own bunting with our own personal meaning of what love is.
They also had a trip to the Museum of Liverpool to listen to stories about children from same sex families (And Tango makes three was defiantly their favourite).
Whilst at the museum they also made their mark on the wall of peace.
Back at school they took inspiration from the Liverpool sky line they saw at the museum and decided to recreate it just like on the Liver Gay Pride logo for their window display.
Hopefully you can recognise some of the buildings.
We finished the week by making a rainbow cake to celebrate all of their learning.
