Governor Bio’s

Colin Sibbald

I am Colin Sibbald and have been Chair of Governors for the past four years. This year I have been associated with the school for 30 years. I was a Police officer and, for about 10 years of my Police service, a schools police officer. I have always enjoyed my time in the school as I find the students and staff to be friendly and welcoming. I think, as I know lots of others do, that our present building is fabulous; something I feel the students and staff deserve. I look forward to helping the school remain outstanding, ensuring we provide our students with the best possible opportunities for their futures.

Christine Jones

My name is Christine Jones, I am 60 years old. I became a Community Governor at Bank View High School in November 2013, I had just retired after 40 years working for Merseyside Police in a civilian capacity.

I love helping out at school and getting to know the pupils and staff. I didn’t imagine I would ever be involved in such a fulfilling, rewarding and joyous role once I’d left work.
