It was a busy return to school following our half term break.

We started with our whole school attendance assembly. Names were drawn out for students who had had 100% attendance, above 97% and above 90% attendance. There was a draw for each category for last 1/2 term and since the start of this academic year. Congratulations to those students whose names were drawn out. Our last draw will be on July 19th – we are encouraging all our students to ensure their name is in at least one of our draws.

On Tuesday the fire engine visited school and students from the base, primary and year 7 had a chance to look at the engine and talk to the firemen.

On Wednesday Miss Armstrongs enrichment group went to Gaia

Gaia is a huge, seven metre replica of the earth. It is on display in the Anglican Cathedral until June 23rd and is well worth a visit.
