Bank View is working on the Reading Charter Mark.
As part of this Mrs Nurse, Cathy and the reading ambassadors visited Liverpool Central Library to see author Phil Earle read his new book. This trip was to celebrate the Readathon that we take part in every year in school and to promote reading for pleasure.

It was an exciting day, pupils were able to explore the library and look at a fantastic selection of books. They met the author and were able to ask him lots of interesting questions.

The Reading Ambassadors support staff to promote Reading For Pleasure in the school.

As part of activities on Children in Need day students spent last lesson as part of the Readathon all reading in form groups (some while eating cake they had bought in the afternoon cake sale)

We have a number of books students can take home from our library.
