Currently we have students on work experience at Ronald McDonald House and have been asked to spread the news about a toy sale they are having on the 24th of November between 10am – 12am.
Ronald McDonald Houses give families the chance to remain close to their child whilst they are in hospital. Their location, as close as possible to one of fourteen specialist children’s hospitals across the UK, means that families can be by their child’s bedside in a matter of moments, whilst maintaining a degree of normal life and reducing emotional and financial strain.
Radio City collect new boxed toys for children and distribute them across the city.
They give some toys to the families staying at Alder Hey Hospital.
The money raised then goes back to the families and for Christmas dinner, clothes etc.
So if you’re not busy and fancy a bargain, go have a look and support this worthwhile charity.
