Our local MP Stephen Twigg visited school last week.

He had a tour of the school and met and chatted to some of our students.

He also spoke to the 6th form students who are part of the Supported Internship programme. They work in school every Friday completing their paperwork. He was interested in the programme and we were delighted to be able to say some of the students will get employment from it!

He has also mentioned Bank View school when speaking in parliament discussing the impact of funding for schools on the SEND provision.
