On Jan 24th 2020 a group of 7 South Korean teachers visited Bank View School to look at restorative practice. This was part of a wider information gathering trip including visits to Holy Family and St Edwards school by other delegates.
The visitors were greeted by Mr Wrigg and the mentor team before receiving a gift card and bag put together by pupils in Base 1. This consisted of items signifying British values as well as the local community. It also included pin cushions and a key ring made by Bank View pupils in the DT department.
The visitors then received a tour of the school followed by lunch with pupils in the Additional Resource Centre.
Mr Wrigg and Paul O’Kane then held a Q&A session relating to restorative practice and its implementation and impact. It was a very successful visit and one which both our visitors and school community thoroughly enjoyed.
